Valentines Day a boost for investigators PDF Print E-mail

While many people were showing their love this Valentine's Day, many private investigators were keeping their eye on the lovers. P.I.'s were trying to catch cheaters on Valentine's Day.

Think about it: a cheater has to do something romantic for the spouse *and* the lover.  Double the work, and sometimes, two-timers get caught!

Robert Nicholas, a private investigator in Rancho Mirage, said, "People are careless and the other half picks up on something."

Nicholas said he was incredibly busy on Valentine's Day as clients were anxiously awaiting word of what their significant other was doing.

"A lot of times, I'll be texting back and forth to my client," Nicholas said.

Jesse Hughes, of Palm Springs, said, "A private investigator allows someone to be a monster and all you have to do is pay a fee."

While private investigators watch potential cheaters' every move, some also enjoy giving good news.

"I'm happy sometime I can report back to a client.  Sometime, their suspicions are wrong."

An unexpected sweet surprise on the day of love.
